Slippers for Columbina

It is a fun project, as I work on the girl, more and more traits of her character come out. She is sure the special girl. Surprisingly enough, the one of the most challenging parts of this project was to produce the decent pair of slippers for Columbina. I spent
about eight hours to figure this out. Here they are, after three tries, I finally got it right... The slippers are about two inches long and about 1/4 inch wide. My first foot ware for a doll.
I am exited as all of this comes together!

Working with Columbina, the Little Flirtatious Actress.

As much as love to learn new things, just as much I love to share.
I started Columbina about three weeks ago.
Columbina is inspired by classic Italian theater personage: carefree and flirtatious, she also talented, brave and resourceful character. First reference to Columbina are traced back to 18th century.
The doll is completely adjustable, with arms, legs and hands made in polymer clay mounted on wire armature. In these pictures she is already completely sculpted and assembled.

It is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when you finally figure out something. Today I figured out how to connect all the various website ends with my info to this blog, by adding more pages. What did you do today that made you feel productive?
